Gia's Bridals!

Gia has been my second shooter for more than a year now and she is the best!! She got married this past weekend and Diana Lott and I had the pleasure to photographer her gorgeous wedding (pics to come soon). Recently several photographers and good friends volunteered to make a day out of it and shoot Gia's bridals. We knew Gia would do whatever we asked and she did! It was so much fun. Can you imagine 4 photographers shooting you at once? Gia was a trooper! Here are some of my fav shots from the session. Thanks to Diana (www.dianamlottphotography.com), Vanessa (www.photographybyvanessa.com) and Stacy (www.smsphotography.com) for shooting along with me! Afterwards we all went to Inoteca Vespaio for a great lunch and some wine. It was a wonderful day!

Meet Moo!

I have a new puppy and his name is "moo"! He is a 6 week old Boston Terrier and he is adorable. He and his big brother Linus are getting along great so far...Moo has unusual markings for a Boston Terrier, hence his name. He even has a heart shaped mark on one side. He is my new mascot, so if you come to my studio anytime soon he'll probably be here sleeping on the floor or jumping up on your leg wanting to play! As a matter of fact, I just had a consultation here, and Moo greeted them by peeing on my rug right as they walked in. That's my boy, haha!!

More favs

Some of my fav pics from my spring/summer weddings

More to come soon as well - I'm just having some issues getting blogger to post my images...Thanks for looking!

I've been published (well sort of)!

Well it's been a crazy busy summer - I'm glad it's almost fall. Fall/winter is my favorite time of year...I can't wait for sweater weather! I have to apologize that I haven't kept up with the blog as I would have liked to - I just got so busy that it was put on the backburner but I will try to keep up with it more this fall. A blog is sorta like a diary and I never was very good at keeping up with one of those!

Now onto some exciting news - early this year I was asked to contribute to a book that was being written for beginning wedding photographers. Well, I just found out that the book has been published and it's available on amazon.com. It's called Digital Wedding Photography and the author is Glen Johnson. I haven't seen it in person yet but I can't wait! It's my first time ever being "published", even if it was just as a contributor. How exciting!
